April showers bring May flowers but May brings snow? It can in New England. Mother Nature delivered an interesting gift for Mother's Day but should you complain about a gift? Not when this Mother has the power to bring a lot worse. She was blasted by irate locals across social media but as shocking as the snow was to wake up to, it didn't last long. Poor man's fertilizer? Perhaps. My lawn does look greener. And no apple blossoms were harmed in the making of this unseasonal arrival.

I look at it as a reminder that there are some things we humans have control over and this is not one of them. Live in the moment. Enjoy the beauty of every day magic and let go of the things we cannot predict or change. Savor don't sour!
